10th standard student in Kasaragod test positive for coronavirus

KASARAGOD: A 10th standard student tested positive for coronavirus here on Saturday. A student of Kanjangad Durga Higher Secondary School, the patient wrote her exams at 10 A class. The father of this student had tested positive for the disease on Thursday.

The health department has directed all the students who wrote the exam in this class and their classmates to be under observation.

On Friday, 34 people were tested positive from Kasaragod district alone. The authorities were forced to impose more control measures in the district. Kannur Medical College has been made into a COVID hospital. Kasaragod Central University is now a primary health centre for COVID.
