COVID test under false identity an attempt to spread disease: CM Vijayan slams KM Abhijith

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A case has been registered against KSU state president KM Abhijith for doing a COVID test under a false identity, CM Pinarayi Vijayan told the media here. The mission undertook by Abhijith was to spread COVID which is a bad tendency, the CM said. He further added that the opposition leader has the responsibility to control such strikes. The chief minister also denounced the protests lead by the opposition in the wake of the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Pothancode panchayat president lodged a complaint with the police on the last day that KM Abhijith did a COVID test under a false identity. The test was done for the name KM Abhi. His personal phone number was also not provided. However, Abhijith said that the issue with his name was a technical error and the phone number was that of his house owner who is under observation. He also alleged that Pothancode panchayat president has political interests.
