COVID-19: Thiruvananthapuram reports 777 new cases on Tuesday; 680 cases through contact

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday said that the spread of COVID-19 has decreased in the capital district. The district reported 777 new COVID cases on Tuesday. Among the new cases, 680 persons contracted the disease through contact. 24 health workers also tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 815 patients tested negative for the virus on Tuesday.
