currency

THRISSUR: A complaint was lodged for withdrawing an amount of Rs 20 lakh from the bank account using a cloned SIM card. The money was stolen from the account of P K Sreenivasan’s bank account of Canara Bank. Sreenivasan is the son-in-law of writer Sara Joseph. The money was stolen by taking a cloned SIM card. The money was withdrawn using the OTP which came in it. The Thrissur cyber cell has started a probe on the complaint of Sreenivasan. It is learned that no hints have been obtained on those who swindled the money.

Sara Joseph came to the fore against the bank. She said no message was obtained when the money was withdrawn and that there was a cold response on the side of the bank and she alleged that nothing would happen without their knowledge.
