NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has rejected a petition seeking an injunction against the increase in salaries and pensions of government employees in Kerala. The bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde said that it was not up to the court to decide the matter.

The petition was filed by 'Our Independent Organisation of People' which sought an injunction against the increase in salaries and pensions of government employees in Kerala. The petitioners demanded that the Eleventh Pay Commission Report should not be implemented in Kerala, which is going through a severe financial crisis.
