ksrtc

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC has decided to reduce bus services due to low passenger numbers. Only 50 percent of services that operated on April 26 will continue services now. At that time 3056 were in service. No, only 1528 services are left.

The service will be reduced to 678 on Saturdays and Sundays due to the weekend curfew. Employees in the operating department will be assigned duty in order.

The remaining employees will be given standby attendance. They do not have to attend the unit directly. Most of the services will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Services will be rescheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. If necessary, services will be rescheduled between 11 am to 3 pm when there is less rush.

Half of the ministerial / store staff should attend every day. The supervisory department should also have 50% employees on duty. All officers must be present at their headquarters.

50% of the employees in the mechanical section should attend every day. MD Biju Prabhakar directed the garage chiefs to fix the duty so that the operation of the garage is not interrupted in every shift.

May 1 will be a holiday for all sections of KSRTC employees. Those on duty on that day will be given another day off.
