One need not be an MLA to do social work, Firoz Kunnamparambil expresses regret to Congress for praising CM

Firoz Kunnamparambil, the UDF candidate of Thavanur expressed regret for praising Pinarayi Vijayan in an interview given to a private channel. He alleged that they are circulating only thirty seconds of what he said in the channel. In a Facebook post, he said that his assessment that kits and pensions were the basis for the LDF's victory in the elections in Kerala was due to his lack of experience in politics. Even if he wins or loses, he will stick by his words given to Thavanur.

He opined that one need not be an MLA to do public and social works. He ended his post by requesting to pardon for his words as a beginner.
