Mumbai barge tragedy; number of Keralites killed rises to seven

MUMBAI: The number of Keralites who lost their lives in the Mumbai barge tragedy rose to seven. The body of Suresh Krishnan, a native of Palakkad has been identified. He was the project manager of the contracting company in the barge.

The death of Saneesh Joseph of Chemberi in Kannur was confirmed the other day. Two more Keralites have to be found again. The navy is continuing its search. The death toll in the tragedy has climbed to 66.

Three oil tankers were involved in the accident that happened last Monday following cyclone Tauktae. A barge was completely submerged. The navy has found this barge from the bottom of the sea.
