Fourth class girl lodges complaint that she lost mobile phone, ACP gifts her new phone

acp-

FORT KOCHI: In the goodwill of an Asst Commissioner of Police, a fourth grader got a mobile phone to attend online class. Nasrin, a fourth class girl from St. Mary's School in Fort Kochi, had lodged a complaint with the police yesterday that she lost her phone. The girl said she does not have a phone to attend the online class and requested to find it somehow. While the Cyber Cell was investigating the case, the girl contacted Mattancherry Asst. Police Commissioner GD Vijayakumar and expressed her grief. The ACP assured that action would be taken to locate the phone immediately. But on Sunday, the ACP bought a new phone and gave it to the child. The phone was handed over after calling the child and the parent to the Fort Kochi station. The ACP also advised Nasrin to study well using the phone.
