Sahitya Akademi fellowship for M Leelavathy

NEW DELHI: M Leelavathy, known for her critical writings, has been elected honorary fellow of Sahitya Akademi, the highest literary honour in the country.

MT Vasudevan Nair was the last recipient of the Fellowship from Malayalam. Other writers such as Kovilan, Thakazhi and Vaikom Mohammad Basheer have also received the fellowship.
