THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Though the government has given permission to open cinema theaters in the state from the 25th of October, the theater owners have decided to open movie halls from 28 or 29.

25th is Monday. The collection of movies will take a hit if the theatres open on Monday without any major release. If it is opened on Thursday (28) or Friday (29), there will be weekend collection. No final decision has been made. The government has not announced a relief package for the owners. During the lockdown days, the owners paid the electricity fixed charge.

The producers of all superstar films in Malayalam have decided to release those after seeing the audience influx to theatres. Superstar Rajinikanth's big budget movie 'Annathhe' will be released worldwide on November 4, the day of Diwali. Rajinikanth will be able to bring back the festival mood to the theaters. Vijay's' Master was released on January 13 after the first lockdown. Jayasurya starrer 'Vellam' and Mammootty's 'Priest' were also successful. Then the theaters closed again on April 20. Mohanlal starrer 'Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham', Aratt, Prithviraj's 'Janaganamana', Dulquer Salman's 'Kurup', 'Salute' and Nivin Pauly's 'Thuramukham' will be released one after another if the audience comes back to the threatres.
