KOCHI: The FEFKA Writers' Union has taken a strong stance on the complaint against actor Alencier for misbehaving with director Venu while telling the story of the new film. Writers' Union President S N Swamy opined that they are waiting for AMMA executive committee’s decision as Alencier is a member of AMMA.
FEFKA writers’ union has handed over the complaint against Alencier to AMMA. The incident happened when Alencier reached Venu’s house for discussions on the actor’s role in the film made by the union.
Alencier was drunk when he reached Venu’s house. Alencier admitted after the issue sparked a controversy. Although abuses were not hurled, Alencier's speech with senior filmmaker and director Venu was not up to the standard. S N Swamy said drunkenness was not the reason for such behaviour and that a compromise was possible only if the response from 'AMMA' is clear.
‘KAPPA’ directed by Venu is made to collect necessary fund for the welfare of the members of FEFKA writers union. The film has Prithviraj, Asif Ali, Manju Warrier, Anna Ben and many others.
