Accident kills youth days before his son’s first birthday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth, an employee of Technopark died, when there were only a few days remaining for his son’s first birthday. 36-year-old Renjith died on Monday night at 8.30 pm after struck by a KSRTC bus. His younger son Aarish’s birthday is on January 23. Renjith is the son of Paramanandan (late) brother of famous singer Brahmanandan.

The accident happened on Malayinkeezhu-Pappanamcode Road near Choozhattukotta Pump House. Ranjith, who was going for night duty, stopped his bike and while talking on his mobile phone, an over-speeded KSRTC bus coming from the same direction fatally knocked him down. The bus ran over him and was taken out after a long effort, but by then he had died.

Ranjith was the team leader of Idynamic Software Company in Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. Renjith, who was staying in a rented house in Manakkad, built a new house at Pulari Nagar in Malayinkeezhu and was staying there. He leaves behind his mother Vasantha Kumari, wife Shruthi and children R S Aagneya and R S Aarish.
