Flat fraud: Former international star levels serious allegation against PT Usha

KOZHIKODE: Jemma Joseph, former international star and Usha's junior in the Kannur sports division, has come forward with another allegation against athlete PT Usha in a flat fraud complaint. Jemma Joseph said that PT Usha had threatened her when asked about the promised flat and that the police are on Usha's side.

Earlier, the police had registered a case against seven persons, including PT Usha, for allegedly defrauding them of Rs 46 lakh by offering them a flat. The case was registered on the complaint of Jemma. According to the complaint, the flat was not registered at the promised time and the money was not refunded. The accused include a former doctor of a medical college. Jemma Joseph claims in the complaint that she was cheated by paying for the flat because her close friend PT Usha constantly forced her.
