C Kesavan’s daughter Indirakutty Teacher dies

MAYYANAD: Former Thiru-Kochi chief minister C Kesavan’s daughter K Indirakutty (86) of Mayyanad Thoppil House, died here Tuesday. She was undergoing treatment for old age ailments for quite some time. She died after her condition deteriorated. Her mother is Vasanthi, daughter of C V Kunhiraman, founder of Kerala Kaumudi.

She had worked as the teacher of Mayyanad Government Higher Secondary School, had served as Mayyanad grama panchayat president and chairperson of the Kollam district panchayat education permanent panel chief. Her husband is late Damodaran, retired from SBI.

Late Renjith and Mini Baiju (Animal Husbandry Department) are her children. Son-in-law late Baiju Balakrishnan and granddaughter: Kaumudi.

Her siblings are late K Raveendranath, K Balakrishnan, K Bhadran and Aisha Rajan.

Many paid tributes to the body kept at Mayyanad Panchayat office. She will be laid to rest at the premises of her house at 5 pm today.
