THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The court has recorded the confidential statement of director Balachandra Kumar who recently came up with revelations about the actress assault case. Balachandra Kumar has informed the court about the incidents that took place from the time he met Dileep till the present. The court has recorded the director's confidential statements in 51 pages.
"The threat I received still exists. There will be more witnesses from the film industry in the case. I have also explained to the court why my revelations came out this late," Balachandra Kumar said. The court recorded the director's confidential statement for nearly six and a half hours. It was the Ernakulam CJM court that directed the first class judicial magistrate to record Balachandra Kumar's confidential statement. The court gave this direction to avoid the situation where the director's revelations are later changed.
Balachandra Kumar had alleged that Dileep had a close relationship with Pulsar Suni and that the former and his relatives had forced him not to reveal this to anyone. Balachandra Kumar also revealed that Dileep had conspired to endanger five police officers who investigated the case.
The High Court had postponed the hearing of anticipatory bail of Dileep, his brother Anoop and brother-in-law Suraj on the threatening case to Friday.
