KOCHI: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan has repeated his criticism against the opposition leader VD Satheesan. He said that Satheesan is the personification of arrogance and acts like he is the king. Vellappally Natesan told media persons in Kochi that what he said was what the Congress leaders wanted to say about Satheesan.
"Satheesan is working after sidelining the KPCC president. Everyone in Congress is just tolerating Satheesan. KPCC president is forgiving everything due to his age and maturity," Vellapalli said.
"When I told the truth, many Congress leaders called me and complimented me. The leader of the opposition is speaking as if he is the king and the country. Satheesan's words that he accepts criticism with a good nature show the potential for improvement. I have never said that Satheesan should be defeated. The only intention of those who say such things is to destroy the community and me," Vellappally said.
"How can the Congress come to power when five people are vying to become the chief minister? It is not possible. I said that if the Congress comes to power, Ramesh Chennithala has a chance to become the chief minister. LDF itself is likely to come to power after the next election. The reason for the prosperity of the LDF is the rivalry between the UDF and the Congress. The BDJS has not got the representation it deserves in the NDA," Vellappalli said. He added that the second Pinarayi government was not as good as the first government and it was due to poor performance of the ministers.
