Police register sexual assault case against Sreekanth Vettiyar

KOLLAM: Police have registered a sexual assault case against popular YouTube vlogger Sreekanth Vettiyar. The case was registered on the complaint lodged by a Kollam native woman. The MeToo revelation against Sreekanth Vettiyar came up on the Facebook page 'Women Against Sexual Harassment.'

The woman had alleged that Sreekanth Vettiyar summoned her to a flat in Kochi and sexually assaulted her after giving her a false promise of marriage. After a few days, another woman also came up with a similar complaint against Sreekanth. Police have intensified a probe to find Sreekanth who has gone into hiding.
