THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Under the leadership of Kudumbasree, 'Ente Thozhil Ente Abhimanam' (My Job My Pride) campaign will be organized in homes from May 8 to 15 to find job seekers. The campaign is run by the Knowledge Economy Mission. The aim is to add job seekers to the Digital Workforce Management System developed by the Knowledge Economy Mission under K-DISC.
Following the registration with the Knowledge Economy Mission, job fairs were organized in all the 14 districts. The aim is to create employment for 20 lakh people within five years.
Educators' details will be collected by conducting house-to-house surveys through a digital platform. Special emphasis will be given to women who have had to quit their jobs.
The Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission will implement schemes to equip job seekers with skills training. Agencies KILA and KKMM have also been tasked with completing the training and other setup of the campaign.
18 to 59 years
The data is collected from job seekers from the ages of 18 and those with Plus Two or equivalent qualification up to the age of 59. Leading companies such as Eureka Forbes, Kim's Health, Popular Hyundai, UST Global, TCS, HDFC and ESAF Bank are part of the project.
