MUMBAI: Lucknow Super Giants opener Quinton de Kock was injured during the IPL match against RCB. De Cock was injured when fast bowler Mohammad Siraj's ball bounced off his arm. The incident happened in the second ball of the first over of the innings. But as soon as the ball hit De Cock's body, the bowler Siraj immediately reached near him. Later, Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik came and made sure that the Lucknow star was not in trouble. Commentators described the performance of the RCB players as an example of the best sportsman spirit seen on the field.
Earlier, RCB batted first and scored 181 runs in the allotted 20 overs with the help of captain Faf Du Plessis. Du Plessis, who scored 96 off 64 balls, helped RCB recover from an early setback.
