KSRTC Swift meets with accident again

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The newly launched KSRTC- Swift met with an accident again. The Thiruvananthapuram-Mananthavady bus met with the accident at Kaithapoyil in Thamarasseri. The bus hit the back of a lorry. No casualty has been reported.

Swift is an independent company formed under KSRTC for long distance services. The company started service with 116 buses including eight AC sleepers and 20 AC semi-sleepers. However, the bus is continuously involving in accidents.

KSRTC Employees Union had earlier alleged that the lack of experience of contract employees was the reason for the continuous accidents.
