Uma seeks Mammootty's support; candidates in search of celebrity support, Thrikkakara in election heat

KOCHI: UDF candidate in Thrikkakara by-election Uma Thomas visited actor Mammootty's house and sought his support. Amidst the election heat in the constituency, she came to seek Mammootty's votes.

Mammootty has been friends with PT Thomas since his college days at Maharajas. Uma was accompanied by Ernakulam MP Hibi Eden and Ramesh Pisharody.

LDF candidate Jo Joseph is also seeking the support of prominent figures in the constituency today.
