Food items stored in toilet of hotel; doctor assaulted for taking photos, three including owner arrested

PARIYARAM: A doctor who took the photos of food items and vegetables stored in the toilet of the hotel, was assaulted by the employees of the hotel. The police arrested three including the owner of the hotel. The case is under the non-bailable section. The arrested have been identified as Muhammed Moideen (28) of K C House, the owner of the hotel, his sister Sameena (29) and security employee Dasan (70).

The incident happened at the K C Restaurant in Pilathara. 31 people including the health activists of Bandadka PHC and family members entered the hotel to have food Sunday morning at 10 am. The team reached Pilathara during their pleasure trip to Kannur.

When they went to the toilet after having food saw the food items and vegetable stored there. Immediately medical officer Dr Subbaraya took the photo and videos of it. When the hotel staffs noticed it, they attacked the doctor and seized his phone.

The others in the team soon informed the police. A notice was issued to the hotel shortly after the incident.
