DOHA:Qatar has decided to implement a no-sex regulation ahead of World Cup, 2022 . The ban is being imposed on spectators who are single. If convicted of having sex, they can be jailed up to seven years. Unmarried men and women are restricted from sharing a room.There have been reports that fans with different surnames being barred from booking.
Post-match drinking parties will not be allowed in Qatar like other World Cups. Authorities have warned of dire consequences in case of violations. Qatar is a country that forbids premarital sex. It is also applicable to World Cup fans. Qatar also bans public drinking under public law. It is also an offense to wear revealing clothes in public. It is also forbidden for men and women to show public affection. But some believe that Qatar will ease some of the rules during the World Cup.
