‘Trying to fix M M Mani is like watering an electric post’; Statement against Rema is of low standard, says K Surendran

KOCHI: M M Mani’s statement against K K Rema is of low standard, said BJP state president K Surendran. Mani is making rubbish remarks daily. Trying to fix Mani is like watering an electric post, mocked Surendran. Mani has made an unnecessary remark. It is injustice, he opined.

M M Mani is one of those people, who do not have a conscience to apologize after committing wrong. Mani should apologize to Rema, said Surendran. However, Mani said that he stands by his statement and has no regrets.

“No one reacted when Rema defamed the chief minister. It was the opposition who first said that she is a widow. In response, I said that it’s her fate that she had become a widow. I don’t think that what I said was wrong”, he said. Mani did not come to the assembly on Friday. Rema responded that she thinks that Mani did not come to the assembly as he was scared. The opposition had staged strong protests in the assembly on Friday demanding Mani’s apology.
