NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has criticized the central government at the NITI Aayog meeting. The Chief Minister said in the meeting that the measures taken by the Central Government should not be challenging federalism. The Centre should refrain from making laws on matters in the State List. The borrowing limit of states should be raised, said the CM while addressing the seventh governing council meeting of NITI Aayog.
There should be a legal solution against the Supreme Court verdict on the eco-sensitive zone issue. GST hike on essential goods should be withdrawn and the reduction in kerosene quota should be checked and the Centre should approve air and rail projects to reduce accidents, demanded the CM in the meeting.
