Mother goes to take bail for father accused in cannabis case, student gang-raped by friends entrusted to look after her

THRISSUR: More details has been revealed in the gang-rape case of a plus two student by her father's friends. After the mother went to Malappuram to take bail for her father, who was arrested in a cannabis case, father's friends came home and raped the girl. The mother had requested the father's friends to take care of the daughter as she was alone at home. Following this, they reached the house.

She was sexually abused by her father's friends two months ago. Even though she informed her mother about the ordeal, they refused to file a complaint with the police. She shared the shocking information during counselling in school. The police found that her father's friends were drug addicts and that they had come to meet him in connection with the cannabis deal. The information provided by the police is that she was abused by three people. The case is being investigated by a team led by Guruvayur ACP.

The police received the complaint four days ago. One arrest has been recorded in the incident. The police are investigating to capture for the other accused as well.
