Rahul Gandhi visits Mata Amritanandamayi during Bharat Jodo Yatra

KARUNAGAPPALLY: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday visited Mata Amritanandamayi during his Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul visited the Ashram at Karunagappally while touring through Kollam district as part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul Gandhi, who arrived at Amritapuri at around 8:30 PM along with AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal, KPCC President K Sudhakaran, Opposition Leader VD Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithala, spent 45 minutes with Amritanandamayi. Rahul Gandhi shared the pictures of the meeting through his Facebook page.

'Fortunate to have met Amritanandamayi Maa at her ashram near Karunagappally, Kollam. Very impressed by the amazing work Amma’s organisation has done toward helping the poor and the downtrodden. Offered my humble salutations and received her warm, love-filled hug in return!' Rahul Gandhi wrote on his Facebook page.
