THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that he is not an apt person to suggest whom to vote for in the Congress Presidential election. ‘In a democratic election, there will be different opinions. It is natural. No one complains about it. Gandhi's candidate and Nehru's candidate have contested against each other. That is the history of Congress. Contest is the face of a democratic political party, media should not worry when Congress is opting for it, who am I to say that Kerala's support is for Kharge, asked Sudhakaran.

On the other hand, opposition leader V D Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and K Muralidharan have declared their support for Mallikarjun Kharge. Muralidharan said that Kharge who worked from the lower level and rose to top position is the suitable candidate. He said that no one is against Tharoor. ‘He lacks connection with the common people. He cannot be blamed in this, it is because of the situation he grew up,’ stated Muralidharan.
