Chief Minister is like Dhritarashtra; K Sudhakaran demands probe into revelations in Swapna's autobiography

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran demanded a probe into the revelations made by Swapna Suresh against the Chief Minister and his daughter through her autobiography 'Chathiyude Padmavyuham'. Surendran said that the revelations made by Swapna were of a serious nature.

"The autobiography of Swapna, the accused in the gold smuggling case, Swapna, is a confession that sheds light on the frauds committed by the elite of the state in the shadow of power. She had once made shocking revelations against the Chief Minister. She had once made shocking revelations against the Chief Minister. The unexpected moves by the Kerala police after this, some measures to silence Swapna and the government's eagerness to whitewash M Sivasankar and reinstate him in his office made the Kerala society realize that Swapna's revelations are not something that can be simply dismissed," Sudhakaran said.

"Like Dhritarashtra, blinded by filial affection, the Chief Minister often turns a blind eye to the truth due to his affection towards his daughter. The Chief Minister always tried to deal with the allegations against his daughter emotionally both inside and outside the assembly. It is a mystery that Pinarayi Vijayan has not yet shown the courage to take legal action against Swapna, who made allegations against his daughter and family in public. This is strengthening some suspicions," he said.

"The Chief Minister has the onus to unequivocally prove that the allegations that his daughter received crores of commission through the Sprinklr deal are false. There is no point in defending by arguing that the state did not suffer any financial loss," he added.
