kk

KOCHI: The police are looking for 46-year-old Nepal native Ram Bahadur Bishit in the murder of Lakshmi (35), another native of Nepal in Elamkulam, Ernakulam. She has been suffocated to death and her body was hidden by wrapping in cloth and plastic cover in a rented house. It has been suspected that the accused, a hair-fixing technician has fled Kerala. After 21th, his phone has been switched off. The police are of the conclusion that suspicion about partner led to the murder.

The house owner was told that they were a couple from Maharashtra. A forged document was given along with the tenancy agreement. Their names and addresses have not been confirmed yet. The body was shifted to the General Hospital after the inquest. The duo had been living in the house for one and a half years. The neighbours complained after a foul smell started to emanate from the house. Then the police were informed and they found the body. It is believed that the murder took place on October 20 or 21. The police continues the search for the accused.
