NEW DELHI: The Indian sailors imprisoned in Equatorial Guinea are being transferred to Nigeria. Vijith V Nair, a resident of Kollam, said that 15 Indians, including himself, were brought to Luba port. They will be taken aboard an army warship.

'I don't know what will happen when we get to Nigeria. Our phone was seized yesterday. Help us.' - says Vijith in the video. There were reports yesterday that those detained from the cargo ship will be extradited to Nigeria.

The Indian Embassy in Africa had informed yesterday that the process related to the release of the sailors is underway. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had sent a letter to the Prime Minister the other day asking him to intervene in the release of the ship crew.
