Police identify man who showered money from flyover in Bengaluru, register case

BENGALURU: An unusual incident took place in Bengaluru when a person wearing a black suit threw currency notes from the top of KR Market flyover, bringing the traffic to a standstill. After coming in a scooter, he threw currency in denominations of Rs 10 on both sides of the flyover as people scrambled to take the money. After this, the youth who threw the notes got on a scooter and left. The man also had a big clock on his body. The police had announced that they would investigate the incident after it became a hot topic in the media. Now, the officials have revealed the name of the man behind the act.

The police identified the man as 30-year-old Arun, an event manager. The officials say he did this for publicity. The police also informed that a case of public nuisance has been registered against Arun for obstructing the traffic.
