Running school bus carrying 25 children catches fire in Ernakulam; major disaster averted by a narrow margin

IDUKKI: In a shocking incident, a school bus was completely destroyed in a fire in Kalloorkkad in Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam. The incident occurred around 9:30 AM today. The bus belonged to St. Teresa's High School in Vazhakulam and was carrying school children when the fire broke out near Neerampuzha Kavala in Kalloorkkad. Fortunately, none of the students were injured,

As the bus reached Kalloorkkad, the driver noticed fire and smoke coming from the front of the bus. At the time, 25 children were on board. The driver immediately stopped the vehicle and safely evacuated the children to a secure location. Shortly after the evacuation, the bus was engulfed in flames and completely destroyed.

Upon receiving information, the fire force arrived at the spot and extinguished the fire. Locals stated that a major tragedy was averted by a narrow margin.
