Dulquer Salmaan, Gokul Suresh and Pranav Mohanlal are no new to brutal criticism and trolls on social media. However, another star kid from Mollywood manages to escape from such scrutiny every time. A new social media post highlighting this topic has already triggered discussions. According to Ranjith Raveendran, Dhyan Sreenivasan is no ‘Marlon Brando’ when it comes to acting. Despite having a dull repertoire in movies, the star kid always finds a way to wriggle out of criticism for his acting and direction.
Ranjith Raveendran:
“It is quite shocking to accept the reality that Dhyan has directed a movie casting south India’s biggest superstar Nayanthara. Hope someday Nayanathara clarifies the crucial factor that made her act in the movie.
I have noticed the aversion of critics to find faults with Dhyan. The star kid has intruded into all major departments of the movie world but has not yet proved his true worth. Dulquer, Pranav and Gokul are subjected to brutal trolls while this youngster blabbermouths on online channels and averts criticism coming his way. Dhyan is turning out to be a leech in this industry.
‘Varshangalkku Shesham’, a movie filled with corny scenes and narration was touted as a noble creation by Dhyan before the movie’s release. Even the director Vineeth showed restraint and never claimed the movie to be a ‘world-class’ work of art. After the OTT release, people started throwing brickbats at the movie for what it was, which made it suitable for Dhyan to put all the blame on the director and do a volte-face.
For me, Dhyan exists in this industry with just one skill. That is to chit-chat on online channels and get on the trending list.”
