Mammootty responded to only one person in public following his state award win

KOCHI: It is true that Mammootty did not celebrate winning the sixth state award for the best actor. Following the announcement of the awards, the actor also did not respond to the media. The award was announced during the shooting of 'Bazooka' movie at CIAL Golf Club in Nedumbassery. Although his colleagues applauded and congratulated Mammootty, he avoided celebrations. After finishing the filming, he went to his house in Elamkulam. Though the media asked for a response, Mammootty wasn't ready. He also didn't respond on his social media page. But Mammootty thanked Mohanlal under his social media post.

Nanpakal Nerath Mayakkam is a film produced by Mammootty himself. Many including director Lijo Jose Pellissery visited Mammootty at home and congratulated him.
