The film ‘Pavi Caretaker’ is all set to release. On this occasion, actor Dileep is revealing about the film. He clarified that the character he played Pavi is someone who lives for others.
‘He forgot to live his own life. Such a person unknowingly fell in love. When they came and told me the story, they said that Pavi was a bit older person. Then I asked them, that means I will have grey hair. They said there is some maturity. Did not trim moustache to look old. Not saying that I am not old. He is not bothered about it. His concentration is on others. A person becomes mentally young when falling in love. All our deeds will be in that way,' Dileep clarified.
Dileep also talked about his personal life. 'Don't you see, each time when my film releases, different things crop up. It started years ago. That didn’t affect me. What can we do, just have to face it. Cinema is my world. The games played in the background were not noticed. It will go in its own way. I should not talk anything.
I am still in this field because of the strong people who are with me in my sorrows. I will not say that I was neglected. By God's grace no one has spoken ill of me till this moment. A handful of people say something. They are getting famous now because of me. I'm happy. People are becoming famous because of me. Their family is doing well. No PR work is needed. Has there been a single day in the last several years that you have not remembered my face. I am in your mind. How much money I saved,' he said.
Dileep also revealed that he was scared to play the role of Valayar Paramasivam in Runway. Reason being a spirit mafia leader. His charisma and his wit made the film a success. The year after that, he played a home minister. As an actor we go through many paths. Otherwise, we will get bored. People will like some of it,’ he said.
