NEW DELHI: The families of Air India crash victims in the United Kingdom said wrong bodies of the victims were sent to them. The families of two victims have come forward with the complaint. One family have postponed the funeral because of the wrong body sent. There is also a complaint that parts of different bodies were found inside the coffin handed over to one family.
A foreign media has reported that the information of the wrong bodies was found when the DNA test of the bodies sent from India was conducted in London. The British Prime Minister is likely to raise this issue when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits the country. 270 including 52 British citizens, seven Portuguese citizens and one Canadian, have died in the plane crash.
