Kochi-Delhi IndiGo flight makes emergency landing after mid-air scare

NEW DELHI: An IndiGo flight, that took off from Kochi at 9.15 am, made an emergency landing in Nagpur after receiving a bomb threat. All the passengers on board are safe, confirmed the authorities. Police and bomb squad are inspecting the flight.

The flight was en route to Delhi after arriving in Kochi from Muscat. Meanwhile, a threatening message reached CIAL’s email at 9.30 am on Tuesday. Authorities found nothing unusual during the inspection so far and confirmed that the plane would depart for Delhi after the inspections.
