MANGALURU: Minister Mohammed Riyas said in a meeting that it was decided to adopt new possible methods to find Kozhikode native Arjun who went missing in the Shirur landslide. The minister was speaking at a press conference in Shirur.

Kozhikode MP MK Raghavan, MLAs Ashraf, Sachin Dev, Linto Joseph, Karwar MLA Satish Krishna Sail and Uttara Kannada District Collector Lakshmi Priya attended the meeting. In the meeting, it was assessed that the Navy is facing difficulties in the search due to climate change. The meeting discussed the collective decision to continue the search for Arjun no matter the odds and made a final decision.

The Collector has asked the Navy to continue the search effort. It has been decided to continue trying to reach the goal of finding the three missing persons. More things can be done as the weather improves. There are many things that can be done in this weather, and those things will be done. Interventions will also be made to devise new systems. Collective efforts have been made to find a solution' - the minister said.

Meanwhile, the Karwar MLA told the media that the IBOD team has provided the exact picture of Arjun's truck. The army also informed that the inspection is continuing at the place where the first signal was received.
