NEW DELHI: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced special schemes and financial packages for Bihar and Andhra in the Union Budget 2024. A special scheme to build new airports and roads in Bihar was also announced in the budget. It was just a few days before that BJP rejected the proposal from NDA ally Janata Dal demanding special status for Bihar.
