'Will unveil secrets of PM CARES fund in June'; M K Stalin warns BJP

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday alleged the central government of embezzling money through the PM CARES Fund. He was speaking at a rally in Tiruchirappalli, kicking off DMK's Lok Sabha election campaign.

Stalin also vowed to unveil the secret behind the PM CARES fund if the INDIA alliance came to power. The Tamil Nadu CM said Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest was BJP’s last-ditch attempt in the face of an election defeat.

“Manish Sisodia has been in jail for the past 13 months. Hemant Soren was also arrested last month and now Arvind Kejriwal. BJP has understood that their time in Delhi is reaching an end. In the last attempt to ruffle things up and create a turbulent atmosphere, the government is indulging in wrongdoings.

Recently, when he came to Salem, PM Modi said that the DMK had lost sleep over BJPs rise in Tamil Nadu. But it is exactly the other way around. BJP is running away from DMK’s questions. Can the Prime Minister answer our questions precisely? Where is the flood relief fund? What special plans have you given for Tamil Nadu? Where is Madurai AIIMS? Where are the new railway projects?

The PM repeatedly says that his government is corruption-free. Then please explain the mystery behind the election bond scam. They control central agencies like puppets and send them on raids. Then their party gets funds through electoral bonds. They stole more than 8000 crores in this way. Apart from the Electoral Bond, another scheme they have siphoned money from is the PM CARES Fund.
