26-year-old arrested, hospitalized after swallowing methamphetamine to escape testing

KOZHIKODE: A youth has been admitted to a hospital for swallowing methamphetamine after the excise team reached his house. Rafsin aged 26 of Thalayad Kalad Valakandy swallowed methamphetamine to escape from investigation. He has been admitted at Thamarassery Taluk Hospital and given primary treatment. He was later shifted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

0.544 grams of methamphetamine was recovered from him. Initial reports said that he swallowed 0.20 methamphetamine. He is being subjected to a medical examination at the medical college.
