Another fight over food reported from Kollam; latest brawl about Pazham Pori

KOLLAM: A shopkeeper and a local resident clashed over the age of Pazham Pori. The injured shopkeeper sought treatment at the Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital. The incident took place at Cheruvakkal in Ambalamkunnu around 3 pm yesterday.

A local resident who had come to drink tea jokingly asked if the Pazham Pori was from yesterday. When the shopkeeper replied that it was not from yesterday, but from the day before yesterday, the local resident got angry and started cuzzing and threatening to kill the shopkeeper, before beating him up. The shopkeeper filed a complaint at the Pooyappally police station citing the incident.
