PALAKKAD: Former CPM local secretary Haridasan has been arrested in connection with the Meenakshipuram spirit case. According to reports, Haridasan appeared at the police station on Wednesday morning and surrendered. Haridasan was named the first accused in the case, while Kannayyan was named the third accused.
Meenakshipuram Police stated that an investigation is underway to find another person who was present along with Haridasan and Kannayyan. Recently, the CPM had temporarily expelled Haridasan from the party over his alleged involvement in anti-party activities.
