KANNUR: The parole of Kodi Suni, accused in the T P Chandrasekharan murder case, has been revoked. The action was taken for violating parole conditions. This action follows a report from the Meenangadi Circle Inspector, stating that Suni failed to adhere to the condition of reporting to the police station while on parole. The accused was taken to Kannur Central Jail again. Suni was granted 15-day parole on July 21.
Meantime, three civil policemen were suspended yesterday in the incident of providing an opportunity for Kodi Suni to consume alcohol. The action was taken yesterday in the incident that happened on July 17th.
Kodi Suni and the other accused consumed alcohol while returning from the Thalassery court. They gave them a chance to consume liquor from the hotel where they entered to have lunch. Action was taken against the policemen after the incident came to light.
Kodi Suni is the main accused in the TP murder case. The information of Kodi Suni using phone in jail, had come out earlier. Kodi Suni is accused of planning kidnappings, robberies and assaulting prison officials while in prison.
