Ranjith Sreenivasan murder: High court directs to ensure protection for defendant advocates

ALLEPPEY: High court has directed to ensure protection for the defense lawyers in the murder case of BJP leader Ranjith Sreenivasan. The government has been directed to deploy police protection on the court premises. Court has allowed the defendants thirty days to find advocates for themselves. At the same time, the request by the defendants to shift the trial to Kottayam has been rejected by the court.

Ranjith Sreenivasan was murdered on 19th December 2021. The murderers attacked him in his house with machetes and swords killing him instantly.
