Thief breaks into office room of school in Kannur, steals 40 eggs

KANNUR: A thief stole 40 eggs after breaking into the office room of a school in Kannur. The incident took place at ADLP School in Pallikkara, Cherukunnu. The eggs were stored in the school to be cooked and distributed to children.

Along with the eggs, the robber took away Rs 1800 which was kept inside a diary. The school administration filed a complaint alleging that things valued at Rs. 2,500 went missing from the office area. Kannapuram police have registered a case and started an investigation.

Some days ago, three youths were arrested by the police for breaking into Karunagappally Government Model Higher Secondary School, stealing various items and causing damages. The arrested persons are Karunagappally natives Yasir (18) and Adithyan (18).
