Three youths held with MDMA during vehicle inspection in Kollam

KOLLAM: Three youths were arrested with 214 grams of MDMA in Chavara. The youths from Kundara were arrested during a vehicle inspection early Wednesday morning at 3 am. The police grew suspicious over the youth’s behavior when they were checking the car in which they were travelling. A thorough search conducted found the stuff from the car. 34 grams of ganja were also found from the car.

The arrested are Najmal, Saiyadali and Altaf of Kundara. They are being interrogated.

Meantime, MDMA and ganja were seized from two places in Thodupuzha the other day. They were seized from Muttam and Karimannur. Three youths were arrested with MDMA in Malappuram last week. Riyas (31) of Konompara in Malappuram, Nishanth (23) of Pattarkadavu in Malappuram, and Sirajuddin (28) of Munnukkaran, were arrested by the excise team from Manjeri.
