THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dileep, father of Dikshal, who died of snakebite Thursday morning, levelled serious allegations against the taluk hospital in Chirayinkeezhu. Dileep said that his son did not receive proper treatment when they rushed him to the hospital. While talking to a private channel, he alleged that the doctor on duty did not even physically examine the child.

‘We didn’t see the snake. I couldn't say for sure that it was a snakebite. Only the nurse there touched and examined him. The doctor was seeing everything. Even when my son said that he couldn’t breathe, they didn’t do anything. Stood there for 10 minutes. They told us to take him in an ambulance immediately. Even before reaching the medical college, he was found motionless,’ said Dileep.

Dikshal, elder son of Dileep of Azhoor Moolel House and Anu, died after bitten by the snake while he was sleeping. They came to know about the snakebite this morning at 4 am. Rushed him to Chirayinkeezhu Hospital and then to the medical college hospital, but his life could not be saved. He was bitten by a cobra. The snake was later caught from the house.
